About Me
I’m Jessie, a licensed marriage and family therapist. I’ve been right where you are right now - searching online for a therapist and hoping to find someone I connect with. Finding a therapist isn’t always easy, but I’m glad you’re here!
I began my career working with children as a school-based therapist, then transitioned to school counseling at a local private high school. During my 6 years there, I realized my heart for counseling both young adult women and moms, and that I wanted to dedicate myself toward supporting these populations in a more intentional way. In addition to my work in schools, my personal journey through infertility, pregnancy, and birth trauma propelled me toward supporting women navigating challenges related to starting or expanding their family.
I made the transition to private practice in 2023 and have deepened my passion for helping women access and build upon strengths they already have within them through a safe, compassionate, and meaningful therapeutic relationship. I believe every good therapist appropriately challenges their clients to grow in the ways that are required to meet their goals, that a sense of humor in therapy is underrated, and to quote the late Albus Dumbledore, that “happiness [or contentment, hope, peace, stability, worth] can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light”. Wherever you are and whatever you’re carrying, I’m here to help.
